In 2005, she collaborated with the Mexican rock band Moderatto, on their single Muriendo Lento. It included singles such as Lo Siento, Boba Niña Nice, Ángel, and Vivir, which was also chosen as the main theme song for Corazones al Límite, another soap opera she briefly appeared in. Her international self-titled album Belinda became as big a success in many different countries, as it was in Mexico. She also contributed to the soundtracks of those telenovelas, which brought her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Latin Children's Album.

She dated Christopher Uckermann (member of the Mexican band RBD) while being in the soap opera Aventuras en el tiempo with him, and Cómplices al Rescate, which she could not complete, and was later replaced by actress Daniela Luján. Belinda went on to star in other soap operas like Aventuras en el Tiempo alongside Christopher Uckermann. The daughter of Ignacio Peregrín and Belinda Schüll, Belinda made her first appearance in television as the main character, Ana Capistrán, in the children's telenovela Amigos X Siempre, where she debuted as an actress after winning the role in a national casting in Mexico, beating 5000 other girls. She is of mixed French and Spanish heritage. This is one of many cases where young artists begin their career in acting and then move on to singing. Belinda (born Belinda Peregrín Schüll on Augin Madrid, Spain) is a Latin Grammy-nominated Mexican pop-alternative singer and actress.
